AGM 2019

This year's AGM will be held at Eastham Lodge Golf Club on Thursday 14th November at 6.30 p.m.

We will be holding the Meeting upstairs in the Clubhouse, but we will be using the downstairs bar facilities. If we have 24 attendees, we won't be charged for using the room, so please could everyone make an effort to attend.

Anyone who is willing to put themselves forward for any position, including Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Handicap Committee or Competition Committee is welcome and encouraged to do so and contact John Doyle beforehand.

Likewise, anything which you would like to be discussed at the Meeting, let John know and it will be added to the Agenda.

Don't forget chaps, this is your Society and all major decisions will be made at the AGM, so do try and make it and in any case, please let either John or Alan Dennis know, in order to keep tabs on the expected attendance numbers.

Confirmation of attendance: John Doyle, Alan Dennis, John Chapman, Darren White, Bob Stewart, Bob Sneddon, Carl Ambrose, Andy Fitzpatrick, Colin Newall, Mark McNally, Colin Lewis, Graham Leasor, Danny Parr, Colin Hodson, Arthur Brint, Ian Stevenson, Andy Miller, John Roche

Hawkstone Weekend

A fantastic time was had by the happy group of 16 bandits at Hawkstone Park on the weekend away it's safe to say!

The two courses were in mint condition, the weather was incredible and the accommodation and food were spot on.

To echo Doyley's comments on the WhatsApp Group, a huge vote of thanks goes to John Chapman, Bob Stewart and Graham Donnelly for organising a first class venue and overall experience generally.

Congratulations to everyone who picked up the NTP winnings, and special mention for Eddie Murray who won the Saturday Stableford Comp on the Championship Course and Ian Stevo and Shaun Johnno who won the Sunday Pairs Comp on the Hawkstone Course, but everyone was a Winner really with loads of laughter, far, far too many alcofrolics and great memories made.

Let's do this one again!!
